Grandparents Day 2016.

Every year to celebrate our Grandparents, a Mass is held in our local church to give thanks for their presence in our lives. We honour those who are still with us and fondly remember those who have gone to live with the Lord. Grandparents hold a special place within the family particularly when it comes to the Grandchildren. This day allows children to show their appreciation for the constant love they receive from their Grandparents.

Following the Mass, Grandparents were invited back to the school for a coffee morning, and to view the artwork and poetry created by the pupils demonstrating what their Grandparents mean to them.

Also on display was a fantastic selection of Norman castles made by the pupils of third and fourth class.
